Mini Golf Game
A top-down mini golf game with 18 hand-built holes. Pull back from the ball to aim, let go to putt, and try to sink every hole in par or better.
How to play Mini Golf Game
- Each hole starts on the tee pad. Get the ball into the cup (the dark circle with the flag) in as few strokes as you can.
- Drag back from the ball like a slingshot and release. The further you pull, the harder the putt; the dotted line and the power bar show the shot.
- The ball only drops if it is rolling gently. Hit it too hard and it skims over the cup.
- Walls bounce the ball, including angled ones, so bank shots are fair game. Sand slows the ball sharply, and the arrows on a ramp show which way it pushes.
- Water costs a one-stroke penalty and the ball goes back to where you hit it from. Windmill sails and sliding gates move on their own, so time your putt.
- Your score on each hole is compared with par. After the last hole you see your total against par, and your best round on each course is saved.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: press anywhere on the course, drag back away from where you want the ball to go, then release. Drag back to where you started to cancel.
- Keyboard: Left/Right arrows aim, Up/Down set the power (hold Shift for fine control), Space or Enter to putt. Space also moves on to the next hole.
- P or Esc pauses the game.
Tips
- Short holes reward a soft, straight putt; look for the bank shot only when the direct line is blocked.
- Ramps keep pushing a ball that has stopped on them, so aim to finish on flat ground.
- On windmill holes, watch one full turn of the sails before you putt and send the ball just after a sail passes the gap.
- A long putt that dies near the cup is usually better than a hard one that bounces back out.
FAQ
How many holes does this mini golf game have?
There are 18 original holes. Play the Front 9, the Back 9, or all 18 in one round.
What happens if my ball lands in the water?
You take a one-stroke penalty and the ball is placed back where you last hit it from.
Why did my ball roll over the hole?
It was moving too fast. In mini golf a ball needs to be slowing down to drop, so ease off the power on short putts.
Is there a stroke limit?
Yes. After 10 strokes on a hole the ball is picked up and you score 10 for that hole, so a tricky hole never stalls your round.
Is my score saved?
Your round in progress and your best score on each course are saved in this browser, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off.
