Idle Factory — Idle Clicker Game
Start with a single press button and grow it into a sprawling, self-running factory. Machines keep producing even after you close the tab, so there is always something new to build when you return.
How to play Idle Factory
- Press the big button to make parts by hand. Parts are the currency for everything else.
- Spend parts on machines. Each one produces parts every second automatically, and every purchase makes the next of that machine a little more expensive.
- Owning 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 of a machine unlocks an upgrade that doubles its output. Press upgrades and factory-wide boosts appear as your production grows.
- Milestones are goals such as total parts made or machines owned. Each one reached adds +2% to all production and stays with you forever.
- When you have made enough parts, Retool the factory: machines, upgrades and parts reset, but you earn blueprints. Each blueprint adds +10% to all production permanently.
- While you are away, your machines keep working for up to 8 hours. You collect everything when you come back.
Controls
- Click or tap the press button to make parts; tap a machine or upgrade to buy it.
- Space presses the button. 1–9 and 0 buy machines one to ten.
- M switches the buy amount between ×1, ×10 and Max. U buys the cheapest affordable upgrade.
Tips
- Early on, pressing is your best source of parts. Grab the press upgrades as soon as they show up.
- Machine upgrades are often the best deal around: a single purchase doubles everything that machine produces.
- Your first retool usually pays off once it grants a few blueprints. Even a small permanent bonus makes the next run much faster.
- Switch to Max when you return from a break to spend a large pile of parts in one tap.
FAQ
Does it keep running when I close the tab?
Yes. Your machines keep producing for up to 8 hours while you are away. When you return, a summary shows how long you were gone and how many parts you earned.
What do I keep when I retool?
You keep your blueprints, milestones and lifetime stats. Parts, machines and upgrades go back to zero, and each blueprint makes every machine produce 10% more.
Is my progress saved?
Progress is saved automatically every few seconds and when you leave the page, in this browser only. You can erase it from the Stats tab.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. This idle clicker game runs entirely in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers. There is no download, no install and no account to create.
Can I buy anything with real money?
No. There are no purchases, ads for rewards or random prizes. Everything is earned by playing.
