Group Games You Can Play Together
Every game on this page can be played by two or more people on one device. Some are classic two-player board games where you sit side by side, some are pass-the-phone party games, and some keep score for whole teams on a shared screen.
Each game is labelled with how many people it really supports. Games that only play against the computer are not listed here.
- Group size
- 2 players up to a whole room, depending on the game
- Suggested time
- From a 5-minute round of tic-tac-toe to a full evening of team trivia
- You need
- One phone, tablet or laptop (a TV helps for big groups)
Teams 5
Split into teams and keep score on a shared screen. Best for 6 or more people.
Pass the phone (3 to 12 players) 5
One phone goes around the circle. The game tracks turns and scores.
Any group size: question cards 6
Everyone answers every card, so there is no limit on the number of players. Read them off a shared screen or pass the phone.
Host-led bingo and trivia 6
One person runs the game for a crowd: calls bingo numbers or reads trivia questions aloud.
Up to 4 players, one device 3
Board games with four seats. Each seat can be a person or the computer.
2 players, one device 19
Sit side by side and take turns on the same screen.
How to run it with a group
- Shared screen: open the game on a laptop and cast or plug it into a TV so everyone can read the card. One person (the host) taps for the room.
- Pass the phone: open the game on one phone and hand it to the next player each turn. Add names with the Players button where the game has one, and it tells you whose turn it is.
- Teams: split the room into 2 to 6 teams, type the team names into the setup screen and keep the scoreboard on the shared screen. For charades and drawing, hand the phone to the actor or artist so the word stays secret.
- Nothing to install and no accounts. Everything runs in the browser, and progress is saved only on that device.

FAQ
What games can a group play on one phone?
Pass-the-phone games such as Two Truths and a Lie, Would You Rather and riddles with scores work on a single phone. Team charades, team trivia and bingo work best on a laptop connected to a TV.
Do these games need an internet connection or an account?
No account is needed. You need to load the page once in a browser; game progress is stored only on that device.
Which games are good for a big group?
Team Trivia, Charades and the drawing game support 2 to 6 teams, so a whole room can play. Question-card games such as Icebreaker Questions have no player limit because everyone answers.
Are there two-player games for one device?
Yes. Chess, checkers, four in a row, reversi, go, mancala, dots and boxes and more have a two-player mode where you take turns on the same screen.
Why are some games missing from this list?
Games that only play against the computer, such as most card and dice games on this site, are left out because a second person cannot take a seat.
