Paddle Ball Game
A fast, simple duel: each side guards its edge of the court with a paddle and tries to slip the ball past the other. Play the computer or hand one side of the screen to a friend.
How to play Paddle Ball Game
- Move your paddle up and down to return the ball. If it gets past your paddle, your opponent scores a point.
- Where the ball meets your paddle sets its angle: the center sends it back flat, the ends send it off steeply.
- Moving the paddle as you hit adds a little extra spin to the angle.
- The ball gets faster with every return, so long rallies get intense.
- After each point the ball is served toward the player who just lost it. The first to 7 (or 11) wins the match.
Controls
- vs Computer: you are the left paddle. Use W/S or the Up/Down arrows, move the mouse, or drag anywhere on the court.
- 2 Players on one device: the left player uses W/S or touches the left half of the court; the right player uses the Up/Down arrows or touches the right half. Both can play at once on a touch screen.
- Space or a tap starts the match; P or Esc pauses.
Tips
- Hit with the edge of the paddle to send sharp angles the computer has to chase.
- Drift back to the middle after every return so you are never caught at the wrong end.
- On Hard, the computer rarely misses a straight ball; steep wall bounces are your best chance.
