Marble Shooter
A colour-matching marble shooter. A chain of marbles rolls along a winding track toward a hole. Fire marbles into the chain to make groups of three or more of the same colour and pop them, setting off combos as the gaps snap shut. Clear every marble to finish the level.
How to play Marble Shooter
- Aim the shooter with the mouse, your finger or the arrow keys, and fire the loaded marble into the chain. It slots in where it hits.
- Three or more touching marbles of the same colour pop. The marbles behind keep rolling forward and push the chain along.
- If the marbles on both sides of a gap are the same colour, the front part of the chain rolls back to close it. If that makes a new group of three, it pops too and your combo multiplier grows.
- The small marble in the middle of the shooter is the next one. Swap the two by tapping the shooter, right-clicking, pressing S or using the Swap button.
- Clear every marble on the track to finish the level and earn a level bonus. If the front of the chain reaches the hole, the game is over.
- Each level brings a new track, more marbles and, every second level, one more colour. Choose Relaxed, Normal or Fast to set how quickly the chain rolls.
Controls
- Mouse: move to aim, click to shoot, right-click to swap.
- Touch: tap where you want to shoot (or drag to aim and lift to fire). Tap the shooter to swap.
- Keyboard: Left/Right arrows aim, Space or Enter shoots, S or Down swaps. P or Esc pauses.
Tips
- Watch the front of the chain first. Popping marbles near the hole buys the most time.
- Shoot into a pair of the same colour rather than next to a single marble: one shot clears three.
- Set up combos by clearing a group that sits between two marbles of the same colour, so the gap snaps shut into a new match.
- Use the swap to save a colour you need for later.
- The shooter only loads colours that are still on the track, so late in a level your choices get easier.
FAQ
How do you play marble shooter?
Aim and fire coloured marbles into the chain rolling along the track. When three or more of the same colour touch, they pop. Clear all the marbles before the chain reaches the hole at the end of the track.
How do combos work?
When a pop leaves a gap and the marbles on each side match, the chain rolls back to close it. Each extra group popped this way raises the combo multiplier, and every marble in that group is worth more points.
How is the score counted?
Each popped marble is worth 10 points times the current combo. Clearing a level adds a bonus of 100 points times the level number.
Can I change which marble I shoot?
Yes. The next marble sits in the centre of the shooter. Tap the shooter, right-click, press S or use the Swap button to switch the two.
Is my progress saved?
Your level and score are saved when each level starts, so a reload takes you back to the start of the level you were on.
