Would You Rather Questions
A card-flipper full of would you rather questions for game nights, road trips, classrooms and icebreakers. Pick from funny, family, food, superpower, adventure and tough-choice decks, then vote and see how the group splits.
How to play Would You Rather Questions
- Each card asks a would you rather question with two options. Read it out loud and everyone picks a side, then explain why. There are no wrong answers, only good arguments.
- Tap an option to add a vote. In a group, pass the phone around or let each person tap once, and the card shows how the room split.
- Press Next question, swipe the card left, or press Space for a new question. The deck is shuffled and never repeats a question until you have seen them all.
- Switch decks on or off with the chips above the card, such as Kids, Funny, Food, Superpowers or Tough Choices.
- Add names with Players for pass-the-phone turns: the card shows whose turn it is to read and decide first. Turn on a timer for quick-fire rounds where everyone must choose before time runs out.
Controls
- Space, Enter or →: next question

- 1 / 2: vote for the first or second option
- Swipe the card left or right on a phone
Tips
- The fun is in the reasons: ask everyone to defend their pick in one sentence before moving on.
- For icebreakers at work or school, use the Family, Adventure and School & Work decks.
- Quick-fire mode with a 10-second timer is great for big groups: no overthinking allowed!
- Use Copy to paste a question into a group chat or onto a slide.
FAQ
How do you play would you rather?
Someone reads a question with two options, and every player has to pick one, even if both sound great (or terrible). Then everyone explains their choice. You can keep score by awarding a point to the most convincing answer, but most groups just play for laughs.
What are some good would you rather questions?
Favorites from our decks include: would you rather be able to talk to animals or breathe underwater? Travel back in time or to the future? Have super strength or super speed? Sneeze every time someone says your name or hiccup every time you laugh? Live one life of 200 years or two lives of 80 years?
Are these would you rather questions clean and family friendly?
Yes. Every question was written for this site and is suitable for families, classrooms and work events. The Tough Choices deck is more thoughtful, not more grown-up.
How many questions are there?
More than 240, split into eight decks. The deck shuffles and only repeats a question after you have seen every question in the decks you picked.
Can we play would you rather with a group online?
Yes. Share your screen on a video call, or use Copy to paste each question into a chat. Players can call out their choice and you tap the votes.
