Fruit Merge Game
A gentle physics puzzle with a satisfying pop. Drop fruit into the box, let matching pairs bump together and merge into something bigger, and keep the pile below the line for as long as you can.
How to play Fruit Merge Game
- Move your finger or mouse to aim, then release (or click) to drop the fruit into the box. The next fruit is shown in the corner.
- When two identical fruits touch, they merge into the next fruit up: blueberry → cherry → strawberry → lime → plum → orange → apple → peach → grapefruit → coconut → pumpkin.
- Every merge scores points, and bigger fruit score more. Two pumpkins together vanish for a 100-point bonus.
- Fruits roll, bounce and settle with real physics, so a single drop can set off a chain of merges.
- If fruit stays above the dashed line for two seconds, the game is over.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: aim and release to drop
- ← → or A / D: aim Space / Enter: drop P: pause
Tips
- Keep the biggest fruits along one side or the bottom, and build smaller ones on top of them in order.
- Drop small fruit where they will roll into a matching neighbour, not where they will get stuck between two big ones.
- Check the next fruit before you drop — sometimes it is better to place this one out of the way.
- Chain merges score the most: a new fruit that lands next to its twin merges again straight away.
FAQ
How do you play the fruit merge game?
Drop fruit into the box one at a time. When two of the same fruit touch, they combine into a larger fruit. Keep merging to make bigger fruit and score points, without letting the pile rise above the line.
What is the biggest fruit?
The pumpkin. It takes two coconuts to make one, and merging two pumpkins clears them both for a big bonus.
How is the score worked out?
Each merge scores more the bigger the new fruit: a cherry is worth 3, an orange 21, a coconut 55 and a pumpkin 66. Two pumpkins merging score 100.
When does the game end?
When any settled fruit pokes above the dashed line for two seconds. Fruit that is still falling does not count.
Is my game saved?
Yes. The box is saved every few seconds and when you leave the page, so you can come back to it.
