Parking Game
A top-down parking game with 12 hand-made levels, from a simple drive-in space to tight parallel parking and backing into a garage. Steer carefully, park inside the yellow space and stop for a moment to finish.
How to play Parking Game
- Drive your car into the dashed yellow parking space. The whole car has to be inside the lines and roughly straight with the space.
- Stop inside the space and hold still for half a second to finish the level. Pulling in nose first or backing in both count.
- Touching another car, a wall, a cone, a planter or the edge of the lot is a bump, and you start the level again.
- The car steers from the front wheels, so it turns around its back end. Reversing swings the front of the car the opposite way.
- Finish within the par time for three stars, a little slower for two, and any finish earns one. Every level is open, and your best stars are saved.
Controls
- Touch or mouse: hold the arrow buttons to steer and the GO and REV pedals to drive forward or reverse. Use two fingers to steer and drive at once.
- Keyboard: Up/W to drive, Down/S to reverse (or brake while rolling forward), Left/Right or A/D to steer, Space to brake. Hold Shift to creep at half speed.
- P or Esc pauses.
Tips
- Go slowly near other cars. A short tap on the pedal moves the car only a little.
- For parallel parking, pull up level with the car in front of the space, then reverse while steering toward the curb, and straighten up once you are halfway in.
- The meter at the top fills as the car lines up with the space; it turns green when you only need to stop.
- If a turn is too tight, back up and take it in two moves, just like in a real car.
FAQ
How do I finish a parking level?
Get the whole car inside the yellow space, lined up with it, and come to a stop. After half a second of standing still the level is complete.
Do I have to park nose first?
No. Driving in forward or backing in both count, as long as the car is straight in the space.
How do I parallel park in this game?
Stop beside the car in front of the gap, reverse while steering toward the curb until you are at an angle, then steer the other way to straighten up inside the space.
How are stars awarded?
Three stars for parking within the par time, two for up to nearly twice par, and one for any finish. Bumps restart the level but do not cost stars.
Can I play parking games on my phone?
Yes. The on-screen steering buttons and pedals work with touch, and the game fits phone screens.
