How to play Cricket Darts
- Only the numbers 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and the bull count. Everything else is a miss.
- You need three marks on a number to close it. A single is one mark, a double is two and a treble is three. The outer bull is one mark and the bullseye is two.
- The scoreboard shows one mark as /, two as ✕ and three (closed) as ⊗.
- Once you have closed a number, any extra marks on it score points (its face value, or 25 per bull mark) as long as your opponent has not closed it too.
- When both players have closed a number it is dead and nobody can score on it.
- You win when you have closed all seven targets and have at least as many points as your opponent. If you close everything but are behind, keep scoring on open numbers.
Controls
- Touch: press and hold; the aim circle sits just above your finger. Lift to throw.
- Mouse: hold the button, move the aim and release to throw.
- Keyboard: arrow keys move the aim (hold Shift to move slowly), Space throws.
Tips
- Trebles close a number in one dart, so aim at the treble ring of the number you want.
- Close the numbers your opponent is scoring on; it stops their points straight away.
- Points only matter at the end, but a big lead lets you close the bull without pressure.
- The cricket numbers are highlighted on the board so you can find them quickly.
