Riddles for Adults (with Answers)
Clever, clean riddles for adults: tricky wordplay, number riddles and classic “what am I?” puzzles, each with a hint and the answer. Play a round of 10 alone or pass the phone around at dinner.
How to play Riddles for Adults
- Each round has 10 riddles. Read the riddle (out loud is more fun) and think it over.
- Stuck? Press Hint for a clue. A riddle solved without a hint scores 100 points; with a hint it scores 50.
- Press Show answer, then be honest: tap Got it if you solved it or Not this time if you did not. Solving riddles in a row builds a streak.
- At the end of the round you see your score and every riddle you missed with its answer. Riddles you have seen are not repeated until you have worked through the whole deck.
- Playing as a family or class? Add names with Players and each riddle goes to the next person. Turn on the think timer to reveal the answer automatically when time runs out.
Controls
- H: show a hint
- Enter: show the answer
- Y / N: got it / not this time
Tips
- Hard riddles usually hide the answer in plain sight: re-read the exact wording, especially small words like “in” or “of”.
- Letter riddles (“what comes once in a minute…”) are about spelling, not meaning.
- If you are sure there is a catch, there is. Look for the assumption you made without noticing.
