Memory Sequence Game
A classic follow-the-pattern memory game with lights and tones. The pads play a sequence, you repeat it, and every round adds one more step. How long a pattern can you hold in your head?
How to play Memory Sequence Game
- Press Start. One pad lights up and plays its note.
- Repeat the pattern by tapping the same pads in the same order.
- Get it right and the pattern plays again with one extra step on the end. Keep going as long as you can.
- One wrong pad ends the game. The pad you should have pressed flashes so you can see where it went wrong. Your score is the longest pattern you repeated.
- Modes: Classic builds one pattern step by step. Reverse makes you enter it backwards. New every round plays a brand-new pattern each time, one step longer.
- Pick 4, 6 or 9 pads and a playback speed. Your best score is saved for every mode and pad count.
Controls
- Tap / click the pads
- Number keys 1–9 press the matching pad
- Space / Enter — start
Tips
- Say the shapes or colors under your breath (“circle, star, circle, square”). Hearing the pattern helps you keep it.
- Group the steps into chunks of three or four, like a phone number.
- Listen as well as look. Each pad has its own note, so the pattern is also a little tune.
- Reverse mode is a real workout: try saying the pattern forwards in your head, then reading it back from the end.
FAQ
How do you play the memory sequence game?
Watch the pads light up in order, then tap them back in exactly the same order. Each time you succeed, the pattern gets one step longer. One mistake ends the game.
What is a good score?
Most people manage 7 to 10 steps in Classic with 4 pads. Reaching 15 is excellent, and 20 or more is outstanding.
Does it get faster?
Yes. The playback speeds up a little as the pattern gets longer. You can choose Relaxed, Normal or Fast in the menu.
Can I play without sound?
Yes. Every pad has its own color and shape, so the game works fully with sound off. Turn sound on or off in the site settings.
