Thanksgiving Team Trivia
A Thanksgiving trivia game for teams around the table or in front of the TV. The Thanksgiving pack is on to start; split into teams by generation, by household or by who cooked.
How to play Thanksgiving Team Trivia
- Choose 2 to 6 teams and type their names. Pick the Thanksgiving pack (already on) and any extra packs, the number of questions (10, 15, 20 or 30) and an optional answer timer.
- Put the page on a TV, laptop or shared screen. The host reads each question and its four options aloud.
- Teams agree on an answer quietly and write it down or call it out when the host asks. Turn on the answer timer to keep rounds moving.
- Press Reveal answer. The correct option lights up with a short explanation. Tap every team that got it right: each one scores 1 point.
- Press Next question. After the last question the scoreboard shows the final ranking. Use Undo if you tapped the wrong team.
Controls
- Space or Enter: reveal the answer, then next question
- 1-6: mark a team correct after the reveal
Tips
- Give each team a sheet of paper so answers stay secret until the reveal.
- Mixed-age group? Turn on the Kids pack next to a harder pack and alternate who answers.
- For a big offsite, appoint one quiz host per screen and play the same packs in several rooms.
FAQ
How does team trivia scoring work?
Every team that answers a question correctly scores 1 point. More than one team can score on the same question. The team with the most points after the last question wins, and ties are shown as shared places.
How many teams can play?
Two to six teams on one device. A team can be a single player, so the scoreboard also works for two to six individual players.
Where do the questions come from?
Team Trivia reuses the multiple-choice questions from this site’s trivia quizzes, each with a short explanation. The game avoids repeats on the same device until you have used up a pack.
What do the Thanksgiving questions cover?
History, food, traditions such as parades and football, plus an easier section for kids. Each answer comes with a short explanation.
