TriPeaks Solitaire
A fast, breezy patience game. Clear three mountain peaks of cards by playing them onto the waste pile one rank higher or lower — and chain long streaks for bonus points.
How to play TriPeaks Solitaire
- Twenty-eight cards are laid out as three overlapping peaks. Only the bottom row starts face up; a card turns over as soon as nothing overlaps it.
- Play any face-up, uncovered card that is one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile. Suits do not matter. With wrap on (the default), Kings and Aces connect.
- When you have no play, tap the stock to turn over a new waste card. This ends your current streak.
- Clear all 28 peak cards to win the round. The round ends if the stock runs out and nothing can be played.
- Scoring: each card is worth 10 × its position in the current streak (10, 20, 30…). Clearing a peak top adds 150, clearing all three adds 500, plus 20 for every card left in the stock.
Controls
- Tap a card to play it, or drag it onto the waste pile. Tap the stock to draw.
- Keyboard: Space or D draws, U or Ctrl+Z undoes, H shows a hint, N starts a new round.
Tips
- Look before you tap: when two cards could be played, choose the one that keeps the streak going longest.
- Prefer cards that uncover face-down cards — they give you more options next turn.
- Saving stock cards pays off at the end, so don't draw while you still have a play.
FAQ
What does the wrap setting do?
With wrap on, a King can be followed by an Ace and an Ace by a King. Turn it off for a slightly harder game.
How long does a round take?
Usually just two or three minutes — ideal for a short break.
