FAQ
Which countries are in the Asia map quiz?
Forty-nine countries and territories: the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central, South, East and South-East Asia, plus Russia and Turkey, which span Europe and Asia.
Why is part of Russia cut off?
Russia stretches across eleven time zones, so the map shows its southern part next to Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China. Tap anywhere on it to answer.
How is the score worked out?
Each country is worth one point on the first try, half a point on the second and a quarter on the third. Your score is the share of the maximum, so 100% means every country on the first try.
Can I zoom in on small countries?
Yes. Pinch on a phone or tablet, use the mouse wheel on a computer, or press the + button. Very small countries and island nations also get a round tap target so you can hit them without zooming.
Does the quiz save my progress?
Yes. Your current round is saved on this device, so you can close the page and carry on later. Your best score for each mode and round length is saved too.
