Bible Trivia Questions
From Noah's ark to Paul's shipwreck, test how well you know the people, places and stories of the Bible. Every answer comes with a short explanation.
How to play Bible Trivia Questions
- Every round draws 10 random questions from our Bible trivia question bank. You will not see the same question again until you have worked through the whole category.
- Tap or click an answer, or press 1–4 or A–D on a keyboard. The right answer turns green, a wrong pick turns red, and a short explanation appears.
- Press Next (or Enter) to move on. Every correct answer scores 100 points, and answering several in a row adds a growing streak bonus (up to +125).
- Turn on the optional 20-second timer for a speed bonus. If time runs out, the question counts as missed.
- At the end you get your score and a review of every question you missed, with the correct answers.
Controls
- 1–4 or A–D: choose an answer
- Enter or Space: next question
Tips
- Many questions come from Genesis, Exodus and the four Gospels, so those books are a great place to brush up.
- Numbers repeat in Bible trivia: 12 tribes, 12 apostles and 40 days or years appear again and again.
- Read the explanation after each question: it often links one story to another.
FAQ
What does this Bible trivia quiz cover?
Books of the Bible, well-known people and places, and famous events from both the Old and New Testaments.
Is the quiz tied to one church or tradition?
No. The questions stick to names, places and events found in the text itself and avoid matters of doctrine or interpretation.
Which Bible translation are the questions based on?
None in particular. Each question is written in our own words, so it works whichever translation you read.
Is this Bible trivia good for kids?
Yes. The questions are family-friendly and stick to well-known stories, so they work for kids, a youth group, a Sunday school class or a family game night.
Will I get the same questions again?
Not for a while. The game remembers which questions you have seen on this device and only repeats them after you have answered every question in the category.
