Sight Word Bingo
A sight word bingo game where the computer is the caller. It reads each word out loud, your child finds it on the card, and a full row wins. Pick from five Dolch sight word lists.
How to play Sight Word Bingo
- Choose a word list: Pre-K (pre-primer, 40 words), K (primer, 52 words), Grade 1 (41 words), Grade 2 (46 words) and Grade 3 (41 words). Pre-K and K play on a 3×3 card; grades 1 to 3 use 4×4.
- Press Start. The caller says a word (press 🔊 to hear it again).
- If the word is on your card, tap it. If it is not, press Not on my card.
- Get a full row, column or diagonal to shout BINGO! Correct calls earn stars.
- Switch the Game chips to try listen-and-find, look-alike words or missing letters with the same list.
Controls
- Tap or click a word, or press 1–4 on a keyboard.
- Press 🔊 to hear the word again. Read aloud in the toolbar turns the voice on or off.
- In bingo, tap the word on your card or press Not on my card.
- After a miss, press Next or Enter to keep going.
Tips
- Point to each word on the card while saying it, before the first call. It makes finding words much faster.
- For a group, put the game on a big screen and let children take turns tapping.
- Mute the voice to play a reading-only version where the called word is shown instead.
