Verbal Memory Test
A test of how many words you can keep track of. Words appear one after another. Some are new and some repeat. Mark each one as SEEN or NEW, and see how long you can go before three mistakes.
How to play Verbal Memory Test
- Press Start. A word appears in the middle of the screen.
- If the word has already appeared in this test, press SEEN. If it is the first time, press NEW.
- Each right answer scores a point. Each wrong answer costs one of your three lives.
- As the test goes on, repeated words come up more often and the list you have to remember grows.
- Your score is the number of right answers before you run out of lives.
Controls
- Tap / click SEEN or NEW
- Keys: S or ← for SEEN, N or → for NEW
Tips
- Picture each word for a split second. Images stick better than letters.
- Similar-looking words are the traps: check the whole word, not just the start.
