Word Wheel
Six or seven letters sit around a wheel. Link them together to spell words, fill in every hidden word on the board and move on to the next, trickier wheel.
How to play Word Wheel
- Swipe from letter to letter on the wheel, then lift your finger to submit. You can also tap letters one at a time and press ✓.
- Words must be at least three letters long, and each letter on the wheel can be used once per word.
- The board shows how many words of each length are hidden. Find them all to complete the level.
- Real words that are not on the board count as bonus words. Every three bonus words earns you an extra hint.
- Once you have found at least half of the words you may skip to the next level; the words you missed are shown first.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: drag across letters, or tap them one by one. Tap the last letter again to remove it.
- Keyboard: type letters, Enter to submit, Backspace to delete, Space to shuffle, Esc to clear.
Tips
- Shuffle often — seeing the letters in a new order is the quickest way to spot a word you were missing.
- Look for common endings like -ER, -ED and -ING, and try adding or swapping a single letter in words you already found.
- The longest slot always uses every letter on the wheel. Hint it last, once shorter words have given you some clues.
FAQ
Why was my word not accepted on the board?
The board only holds common everyday words from our own list. Rarer words that are still in the dictionary are counted as bonus words instead, and they help you earn hints.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your level, the words you have found and your hints are saved in this browser, so you can stop and pick up later. You can also replay any level you have unlocked from the level menu.
