Color Link: Connect the Dots
Draw a line between every pair of matching dots. Lines may bend but never cross or branch — and when you are done, every square on the board must be part of a line.
How to play Color Link
- Each color appears as exactly two dots. Press on a dot and drag to its partner to link them.
- Lines run only up, down, left and right, one square at a time. They cannot cross or overlap another line.
- Drawing over another color cuts that line back; drag your finger back and it reappears.
- The puzzle is solved when every pair is linked and every square is covered by a line.
- Choose a board size from 5×5 to 10×10, or play the Daily puzzle, which is the same for everyone today.
Controls
- Drag from a dot (or from the end of an unfinished line) to draw. Drag back over your own line to shorten it.
- Undo takes back the last line, Hint draws one correct link, Clear wipes the board.
- Numbers shows a number on every dot so pairs can be matched without relying on color.
Tips
- Dots on the edge and in corners have the fewest ways out, so link them first.
- If two dots of the same color sit close together, the line between them is usually short — and the long, winding line belongs to someone else.
- An empty square with only one free neighbour is a dead end that no line can fill: rethink the lines around it.
- A move counts each time you switch to a different color. Linking every pair in one stroke each earns a perfect score.
FAQ
Does every puzzle have a solution?
Yes. Every board is generated from a complete solution that fills all squares, and a solver checks it. Most smaller boards have exactly one solution.
I am color-blind. Can I still play?
Yes. Tap Numbers to label every dot, or turn on color-blind friendly colors in Settings, which switches the numbers on automatically.
