Online Jigsaw Puzzles
A relaxing jigsaw with classic tab-and-blank pieces. Every picture — mountain lakes, night cities, sailing seas, mosaics and quilts — is painted fresh by the game, so no two puzzles are the same.
How to play Online Jigsaw Puzzles
- Pick a size: 12, 24, 48 or 96 pieces (150 on larger screens). The pieces are spread out below the board.
- Drag a piece onto the board. When it is close to its correct spot it snaps in and locks.
- Pieces also snap to their neighbours: join two matching pieces anywhere and they move together as one group.
- The puzzle is done when every piece is in place. Your time is saved, and you can leave and come back later.
- The Daily jigsaw is a 48-piece puzzle with a new picture each day, the same for everyone.
Controls
- Drag with a finger or the mouse to move a piece or a joined group.
- Preview shows a faint copy of the picture on the board. Edges hides everything except loose edge pieces.
- Tidy spreads the loose single pieces back out under the board.
Tips
- Start with the border: switch on Edges, find the four corners, then fill in the straight sides.
- Sort pieces by color — sky, water, buildings — and build those areas as groups before moving them onto the board.
- Groups you assemble off the board snap into place in one go once any of their pieces is near its spot.
FAQ
Where do the pictures come from?
The game paints them itself with code — landscapes, city skylines, seascapes, mosaics, glowing lights and quilts — using a different random seed for every puzzle. No photos are used.
Can I rotate pieces?
No. Pieces always face the right way up, so you can concentrate on shapes and colors.
Why is there no 150-piece option on my phone?
At 150 pieces the pieces get too small to handle on a narrow screen. Turn the phone sideways or use a larger screen to see that option.
