Nonograms
A picture is hidden in the grid. The numbers beside each row and above each column tell you how the filled squares are grouped — use pure logic to paint it in.
How to play Nonograms
- Each clue lists the lengths of the runs of filled squares in that row or column, in order. 3 1 means a run of three, at least one gap, then a single square.
- Tap a square to fill it. Switch to ✕ Mark (or right-click) to mark squares you are sure stay empty.
- Press and drag to paint a whole stretch of a row or column in one go.
- A clue turns grey when its line matches. Fill every square of the picture to win and see it in colour.
- Every puzzle is checked by our solver so it can be finished by logic, one line at a time, with a single answer.
Controls

Tips
- Start with big clues: in a 10-wide row, a clue of 7 must cover the middle four squares wherever it sits.
- Add the clue numbers plus one gap between each; if the total equals the line length, the whole line is decided.
- Mark empty squares generously — crosses make the remaining options in crossing lines much clearer.
- Use Check if something feels off; it briefly outlines any square that does not match the picture.
FAQ
Do I ever have to guess?
No. We only keep pictures that our line solver can finish one row or column at a time, which also means the answer is unique.
Where do the pictures come from?
Some 10×10 puzzles use small pixel drawings made for this site; the rest are patterns created fresh by our generator each time you play.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Each size keeps its own puzzle, marks and timer in this browser, and the timer only starts with your first move.
