Pipe Spin: Pipe Puzzle
A calm plumbing puzzle. Every tile is already the right piece — it is just turned the wrong way. Spin them until a single leak-free network carries water from the source to every outlet.
How to play Pipe Spin
- The board is filled with pipe pieces: straights, bends, T-junctions, crosses and round outlets. The blue square in the middle is the water source.
- Tap a tile to turn it a quarter turn clockwise. Pipes that link back to the source fill with water.
- The puzzle is solved when every tile is filled with water and no pipe end points at a wall or at a tile that does not connect back.
- In Expert mode the board wraps around: a pipe leaving one edge continues on the opposite edge.
- The Daily puzzle is the same for everyone today. Par is the fewest turns needed from the starting position.
Controls
- Tap / click a tile to turn it clockwise. Shift-click turns it back.
- Long-press or right-click a tile to lock it once you are sure it is right; locked tiles cannot be turned by accident.
- Keyboard: arrow keys move the highlight, Space or Enter turns, Shift+Enter turns back, L locks.
Tips
- Start at the edges: a pipe can never point off the board (unless wrap-around is on), which often leaves only one way to turn a tile.
- Outlets (round ends) have just one opening. Two outlets side by side can never face each other, or they would form a closed little island.
- Lock tiles you are certain about so the remaining choices are easier to see.
FAQ
Does every puzzle have a solution?
Yes. Each board is built from a complete, connected network first and then the tiles are spun at random, so turning them back always works.
What does the wrap-around option do?
In Expert mode the left edge connects to the right edge and the top to the bottom, so pipes may run off one side and reappear on the other.
