FAQ
How do I print a blank hundreds chart?
Leave the page in practice mode and press Print. You get a chart with some squares empty and a name and score line. Choose Save as PDF in the print dialog for a file.
Can I get a completely empty 100 chart?
Choose Hide most for a mostly empty chart (80% hidden). The first number is always shown so students know where to start.
How is a blank hundreds chart used in class?
Teachers use it for number sense warm-ups, centers and homework. Students fill what they know first and use patterns (ten more is the next row) to find the rest. Check answers against the hundreds chart.
What patterns can I find on a hundreds chart?
Every number in a column ends in the same digit, and each number is 10 more than the one above it. Counting by 10s makes a straight column, counting by 5s makes two columns, and counting by 2s lights up every other square. Use Highlight to see each pattern.
