Medium Sudoku Printable

A printable Sudoku for solvers who have finished the easy ones. Medium grids need a few pairs and locked candidates, not just singles, and each is checked to have exactly one solution. Choose 1, 2 or 4 per page, print, and keep the answer page for later.

How to play Medium Sudoku Printable

• The page opens on Medium. Change the difficulty from the menu whenever you like.
• Choose 1, 2 or 4 puzzles per page. Two per page is a good balance of size and paper.
• Leave the answer key on to print the solutions on a second page.
• Press Print, or choose Save as PDF as the destination. Press New sheet for different puzzles.
• Fill the 9×9 grid so that every row, every column and every bold-outlined 3×3 box contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once.
• Some digits are given at the start and cannot be changed. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and you never need to guess.

Tips

• Write candidates small in the corner of each square when singles run out.
• If you are stuck, look for two squares in a row that share the same two candidates.
• Print four per page for a travel pack and keep the answers at home.
